We were delighted to hear that CLI had been nominated as one of several organisations to receive a £3,000 donation from Applied Influence Group as part of a share of their profits for the last trading year.
As part of AIG’s drive to support positive community impact, CEO, Emma Dutton, asked the Applied Influence team to propose charities and not-for-profits that they would like to benefit from the award. Impressed by the vital and worthwhile work CLI does within the communities we support, CLI were one of the lucky recipients of their generosity.
The donation will be used to support two initiatives suggested by the CLI team: a physical health project providing mentees with monthly gym passes and other exercise support, plus a £1500 fund for practical items like cheap phones, SIM cards, essential clothing, household and food vouchers to help people as they re-establish their lives in their communities.
As Pete Atherton our CEO commented, “This unexpected donation is a welcome addition to our funding and means we can fund a wide range of small value items that will directly benefit the people we support and help them move on with their lives.
We’d like to thank Applied Influence Group for their generous gesture, and we look forward to keeping them updated on how their donation is helping bring positive change”.
